Pandemic Response

We helped the team at BC Children’s & Women’s Hospital map out the critical stages during the pandemic, how it impacted the health system, and strategies going forward. This process helped record and validate systems that needed to change, and identify how those changes could be made to strengthen the system for the next pandemic. We worked with the team to rough out the initial journey, then refine over a series of drafts into the final map. The map is being used to help teams have conversations about responses to pandemics or major incidents in order to build resilience and tools for providers.
