What are municipalities across Canada doing to curb or reduce carbon emissions? What do we need to start doing? What can we celebrate now? These are just a few of the questions people at the Livable Cities Forum tackled. Because this forum brought together hudnreds of leaders from across Canada, we wanted to engage them in dialogue and produce powerful graphics that would honour the work municipalities are doing in fighting the climate crisis.
Our talented scribe, Erica, produced one large summary graphic (4ft x 16ft) that captured themes from keynote presentations, and she also populated a digital Knowledge Wall at a station where people stopped to share ideas on the climate crisis. The digital graphic was later transformed into a lively animation (in English and French) for sharing on social media and engaging a wider audience.
