High-Conflict Parental Separation
Journey Mapping

People experiencing high-conflict parental separation came together in a half-day workshop to map out the experience of navigating the complex health and legal system, frustrations with costs and delays, and strategies that helped them through this difficult time. This map was drawn in real time as people shared their very personal stories, and we invited feedback on what was captured and made changes to wording, imagery, and themes based on direction from the group. The completed map is a composite of multiple experiences over many years. It is being used to inform decision makers on changes that need to happen, both in the short and long term.
