BC Children’s Hospital is launching a new centre for youth living with health complexity across BC and Yukon. This centre will be a hub for care, education, and support for youth and families. It was important this whiteboard animation showed the challenges faced by youth living with health complexity and their families, and how the centre would be one component for supporting them.
Tanya Gadsby drafted the script and narrated the video. Jamin Zuroski, from ‘Namgis Nation, provided Indigenous graphics and themes throughout the video. Heather Collett storyboarded and blended Jamin’s illustrations with her own to produce this beautiful animation. Minh Ngo brought it all to life in animation.
