We’re getting more requests for digital graphic recording, and it’s quickly becoming a preferred format for some of our clients. Digital graphic recording is flexible, offers unique engagement opportunities, and helps inform breakout group discussions. However, it’s important to consider the benefits and considerations of this format to determine what will work best for your conference!
Leslie Teixeira is our project manager extraordinaire! She joined the Fuselight team in 2015 to set up our smooth system of operations for animations, graphic recording, and infographics. But we hired her primarily for her personality — she’s eager to solve problems, friendly and professional, and stays on top of all our projects! Minh Ngo comes from a research and teaching background, and also brings a playful approach to graphic recording and visual communication. Drawing on her diverse experience working in the private, public and non-profit sector, she enjoys the challenge of helping organizations cut through the clutter with visuals that spark a connection between people, ideas, and their greater purpose. Always one to go with the flow and quick with a smile, she’s a joy to work with and we’re so excited to have her on the team!
Graphic recording delivers the most value when we incorporate an interactive component for participants in your conference. Rather than just being a “pretty picture,” interactive graphic recording becomes something the group directly contributes to and builds. It makes a tremendous difference in people feeling ownership for the graphics, and the graphic recording will be more authentic and capture everyone’s voice. Interactive graphic recording can be as simple as providing an opportunity for people to add their ideas on sticky notes, to more fulsome engagement through group builds and three dimensional displays!

We’ve outgrown the “Drawing Out Ideas” name. It doesn’t fully convey the mission we have for our work, nor is it very unique in our industry. Many graphic recording companies use the words “drawing,” “ideas,” and related words (ink, visual, image, lines, think…. you get the idea!).
